David is a seasoned founder with a strong background in finance. In 2013, he left London for Mexico City, to pursue his passion for consumer internet. He moved to Berlin in 2014 to found his first venture, which was later sold to a strategic player and is still live today: https://www.spaceways.co.uk/.
During his tenure at Rocket Internet, David gained valuable experience in all functions of a technology investment and holding company.
Based on this experience, he started Appic, in order to build a new home for great apps whose founders are ready to move on.
David is an avid foodie, with a flare for Mexican cuisine. When possible, he visits his friends in other countries. When he’s in Berlin he enjoys spending time with his dog, who is - you guessed it - Mexican.
Marco has been an advocate for customers for over 15+ years. His passion for defining and designing online products started in 2004, with one of the great internet pioneers, at Yahoo! Inc. From there, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to Berlin and Rocket Internet, where he helped to build online ventures. He also worked as Head of Product for Zalando and later at Wimdu, one of the highest funded startups at that time, with 50 million dollars in funding.
Hungry to learn more about how technology can solve the world's problems, he moved to Silicon Valley to work for eBay. After that, he moved to New York City to become the CPO for CAIS LLC., a B2B FinTech company, helping to disrupt a multi-trillion dollar Financial Service industry.
Marco devotes his free time to his family. He’s a great lover of the NBA and the game of chess.
Tobias is a serial entrepreneur and Angel Investor. His passion is growth, product marketing and UX/UI. In his previous roles as a CMO and Co-Founder of LOVOO, Tobias was part of 2 exits worth 70M$ and 500M$.
After this almost 10-year journey in the dating environment he started a new chapter as co-founder and growth officer for Fastic and helped them grow into one of the leading brands for well-being. Besides his passion for marketing, Tobi has made it his mission to be ahead of the times in market developments in the tech environment. With Admiral Studio he founded a collective in the NFT & Web3 space.
Tobias’ free time belongs to his family, and he tries to go running as often as possible.
